Look Up!
Start tonight -- Tonight MARS will be closest to earth than it ever has before (186 light seconds) according to space.com. You should be able to see MARS just after dusk. How cool is that.
Don't forget tomorrow morning you will be able to see a total lunar eclipse (thanks RiverCityRapids).

Yikes -- its true -- I linked to an article from 2003... I'm a little late.
Just to my defense.
I had received an e-mail stating it that Mars was going to be close to earth (as in 2003). Of coarse knowing that all e-mail are not true - I googled it and found the article on space.com -- but I didnt look at the date....
However, after getting your message - I googled it again -- and found out their was in fact a "hoax" e-mail going around... I got Hoaxed!!
