How is your Week?

Yesterday - I had a break from the office. I spent the day at VCU at a class offered through their "Especially for Non-Profit Organizations". It was a welcome break and one that I get to do 3 more times this month.

I was so excited to go back to school -- I broke out some shorts, t-shirt and some flip flops. It was a pretty good day. Parking was a lot easier than it was 7 years ago. At 8:00 a.m. all parking decks were open. Lunch at the Village was good - still serving PBR. The old Frat house still their. And the "Commons" was completely different. Anyone remember many many years ago that you could buy Beer in the Commons. What other University can say that?? Maybe next week I can get their early and have breakfast at Hibbs. --- Yeah I don't miss it that much...


My Last Weekend Update::: Melinda ran her legs off at the Maymont 1/2 Marathon. Not too much longer and we will be cheering her on at the Richmond Marathon. 26 miles?? Who runs 26 miles?? I don't even drive 26 miles most days?? She is awesome!!

This Weekend: Off the couch Weekend -- has me running 4 miles on Saturday... sweet!!
Melinda however is running a 30k at Pocahontas State Park on Sunday. 30k -- Crazy!!! Hopefully, she will feel up to doing a little kayaking at Pocohontas after her run. It's not like you need your legs to kayak??
