I'm a firm believer that less is more. Oldest child is 6 and is into softball, but since games usually are monday or tuesday, the coaches don't want to overdo it and have a practice the day before so that usually means a game on mon/tues and a game on sat.
I'm not even going to try 2 sports with one child... my son (who's about to be 5) is probably going to want to play something as well...
Sports are great. Just seems like it can be a bit overwhelming, and we've got plenty of years coming up to be overwhelmed, don't we?
Friends down the street have softball practice/games either 5 or 6 days a week! That's just between their 2 girls; the 6 yr old boy hasn't even started yet...
Overwhelming!! That it is!! Yeah don't try 2 sports. Soccer was actually suppose to end before baseball started - but the rain caused it to extend.
