3 more things!!
Since I already griped about losing $5.00 to Mr. Ukrop -- Why not give you 3 more things for the day.
1. Tobacco and VCU -- Yeah, Yeah -- smoking is bad for you!! I agree!! and am sometimes surprised people still do it. But then again -- I don't always use sunscreen and sometimes I drive without using my seat belt... So who am I to judge... But VCU receiving a couple of dollars -- is that really a big deal?
Seriously, $1.3 million from $227 million is just a couple of dollars. And was it really a Secret?? To me the big point would be -- what are they researching?? and Is their Research Ethical??
2. RMA -- Hey I could gripe about the tolls -- but really - I have no Gripes. June 2 was the start of the 3 toll lanes closing -- making only 6 left. RMA thought we would have to adjust our schedule or find alternative routes. But when they put the smart tag lanes on the left hand side instead of the middle -- it finally created a smoother commute... Give that person a raise Jack!!! We have only been suggesting this for years.. And really everywhere else you go they do this!!!
3. Don't Believe it!! Yep Gas prices are high -- but all this talk about people trying so hard to sell their SUV's is bull. Please someone send me an ad for an SUV that looks like they are desperate to sell?? New or used!!!

You know I was thinking on my drive home yesterday when I saw a huge SUV that, if the prices keep going up (which shouldn't really include an *if* in that stmt, should it?) and let's say everyone starts carpooling, than maybe it *will* make sense to drive a big SUV since you can hold more people... but could you hold that many to break the price down better than my little mid-size? Still probably not...
Seriously, I wonder if everyone will start talking about carpooling - and divvying up the gas costs. I'd go for it...

In our case - it just didnt make sense to our budget for me to drive an SUV alone 5 days a week to work and back. So I got a Yaris for the Cummute. But we still have an SUV. Which we still need for trips to Lowes, family vacations, camping, "hopefully a boat 1 day", and sometime we just drive because we like it - granted not across the river...
